„Keeping an eye on the future, seeing where society and the economy are heading and aligning our clients with the demands of the future. That's what drives me.”

Vocational education and training: International projects

New technological developments and the associated changes in job profiles and working environments have a strong impact on the field of HR management and HR development. It is our aspiration to accompany such developments in future and to participate in them. For many years, we have therefore been committed to the topics and challenges of today and tomorrow: in publicly funded projects at German and, above all, European level. Our clients also benefit from this knowledge and new ideas.

International projects:
Lux Impuls goes to Europe

At European level, we were and are partners in various Erasmus+ projects focussing on different topics.

In a globalised world, employee mobility is becoming increasingly important. A number of European projects in which Lux Impuls was active were dedicated to this topic. The "Improved Mobility" project, for example, investigated the factors that play a role in trainees' successful stays abroad. And "Holistic Intercultural Preparation" focussed on the comprehensive preparation of employees for their posting abroad. Similarities and differences between training and professions in the construction sector were analysed in the "Comparison VET in Construction" project in five countries. Here, too, the ultimate aim was to improve mobility. (www.ifcenter.es/comparison-vet-construction)

In contrast, the "EmBrand" and "Let's campaign" projects were completely different. They focussed on trainee marketing. "Let's campaign" aimed to promote the attractiveness of vocational training, while "EmBrand" focussed on increasing employer attractiveness (www.bzb.de/news/23-projekte/574-neues-eu-projekt-embrand).

International projects:
Lux Impuls goes to Europe – Current projects

Our current project "TechnoVET" (www.ifcenter.es/en/copia-de-comparison-vet-construction) is all about promoting digitalisation in the field of vocational education and training. The focus is on the target groups of trainees, trainers and vocational training centres. The starting point is the changes brought about by the pandemic. The focus is on digital skills, as they are one of the key factors for successful integration into the labour market. Among other things, a guide for the use of digital tools will be created, as well as a series of short preparatory courses on online teaching aimed at VET stakeholders. In addition, solutions for the administrative area will be developed.

Study trip:
Learning from vocational training in Germany

The dual training system in Germany is a real export hit. Numerous countries are interested in it. In a study trip lasting several days, education experts from the Russian Federation gained an in-depth insight into how the various upgrade qualifications of vocational education and training are applied in practice.
